Learn techniques on the basic function of a camera and photographic principles.
Suitable for but not limited to law enforcement, private CSI, ACFE, NPA and legal Services, Medical legal services, EMS and private photographers. Focussing on the camera and equipment layout, camera settings lenses, exposure settings, depth of field.
Learn techniques on the basic functions and use of Forensic Light Sources.

Latent print comparison and ridgeology targets the fingerprint examiner that has successfully completed a basic fingerprint training course and wants to focus more on comparison and individualisation of fingerprints.
The course is divided into 7 modules namely
1 the history of fingerprints,
2 Comparison techniques,
3 Ridgeology,
4 ACE-V methodology using a scientific comparison process,
5 Persistence and uniqueness of fingerprints,
6 Bias in latent print comparison,
7 Legal standards and challenges.
Also provided are 6 practical comparison exercises, course activities and 2 assessments. The course is aligned with international best practices regarding fingerprints.
